Parents are always welcome at Gingerbread—some times they come for a little extra play time with their children and we think that’s great! We plan frequent field trips and find an excuse to have a party each month—including a very special tea party in May for all our moms—and we ask parents to take part in a field trip and a party each year.
Each month we have a parent meeting or a family event to provide support for parents and deepen our relationship with our families. Parent meeting topics include Developing Capable People, School Readiness and How to Talk So Kids Will Listen. Family events include a marshmallow roast and a family picnic.
